पुलिस ने बताया कि गुरुवार को उत्तराखंड के चमोली जिले में देवखाल के पास एक कार के गहरी खाई में गिरने से एक ही परिवार के तीन सदस्यों की मौत हो गई और एक अन्य घायल हो गया।
उन्होंने बताया कि घटना गोपेश्वर-पोखरी मार्ग पर हुई, सूचना मिलने के बाद एक टीम मौके पर पहुंची और राहत एवं बचाव अभियान शुरू किया।
हादसे के वक्त कार में चार लोग सवार थे.
पुलिस के मुताबिक, हादसे में शामिल परिवार चमोली जिले के पोखरी तहसील के विशाल गांव का रहने वाला था।
मारे गए लोगों की पहचान अरविंद त्रिपाठी, अनीता त्रिपाठी और अनंत त्रिपाठी के रूप में हुई है। घायल अरविंद के बेटे अंबुज त्रिपाठी का गोपेश्वर के जिला अस्पताल में इलाज चल रहा है।
पुलिस ने कहा कि आगे की जांच जारी है।
